The Tenterfield Cork Tree 163 years old

Travelling on the New England Highway in Australia, we were stunned to see this lovely Cork Oak Tree in Tenterfield NSW, brought out from Europe and planted in 1861. 163 years old, it has stood the test of time! This tree has never had it's bark harvested.
